Product Description

This shuttered FLIR Lepton automatically does a flat field correction on power-up and when needed. This calibrates the sensor, reduces noise, and gets rid of the lines reported on some of the sensors. Overall it produces better quality images. The shutter can be removed if desired too. The FLIR Lepton is 9x9mm in size making it the most compact LWIR camera core available.It has a resolution of 80x60 pixels and its nominal response wavelength is from 8 to 14 microns.   25° Lepton compared to 50° Lepton. ^ Here is a video comparing the three different Lepton thermal imaging modules. It is available here as an optional add-on that you can select during checkout, or if you want to just buy breakout boards, you may do so by simply backing this campaign and only choosing the breakout board.  We are releasing these Leptons in batches so that earlier adopters can get started quickly on their projects without having to wait for the 1000th backer.
