Put Thermal Imaging into your Internet of Things (IoT) with our new PureThermal 1 hackable thermal webcam module for the FLIR Lepton camera core. Even if you are not a coder, this board comes pre-configured to operate as a plug-and-play standalone UVC 1.0 USB thermal webcam that will work with standard video apps such as VLC Media Player on PC, Linux, Mac, and even Android. For developers and the more curious, it's reference firmware and hardware schematic are open-source for customized applications and alternate command, control, and video output channels such as analog. The FLIR Lepton camera core is required for operation but not included in the base price since many of our users already have Leptons. Three different Lepton types can be added as an accessory below but we recommend the shuttered 50˚ HFOV version now offered at a discount. Add the optional 3D-printed stand accessory or create your own housing to mount the system. This module is from the same design team that created the classic Lepton breakout board and who was first to bring Lepton to single-quantity buyers. The FLIR Lepton is the most compact LWIR camera core available. The 50° FLIR Lepton Thermal Imager with Shutter automatically does a flat field correction on power-up and when needed. This is why it is our recommendation for use with PT1.
25° FLIR Lepton Thermal Imager

The FLIR Lepton is the most compact LWIR camera core available. This version has a 25° horizontal field of view, and a resolution of 80x60 pixels.
50° FLIR Lepton Thermal Imager

ESP8266 WiFi Module

This WiFi module is a self contained SoM for the ESP8266 with integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give any microcontroller access to a 802.11 b/g/n WiFi network. Includes an 8 pin header to be soldered to PT1 for easy removal of the ESP8266. Our sample firmware on GitHub does not yet support this module but it will eventually. That does not mean that you can't integrate it yourself though.
Adjustable Thermal Camera Stand

This stand clamps to the Micro-USB cable to allow easy access to the PureThermal 1 board. The stand can tilt up and down making pointing your Lepton in the direction you want easy. This stand is also compatible with the classic Lepton Breakout Board.
Note, the bolts will be black not silver.
