datum-Trio

J&J Studios is back on GroupGets with their new trio of datum boards. The datum-Distance, datum-IMU, and datum-Light are all built around the Atmel SAMD21G18 microcontroller from the Arduino Zero, and provide the simplest and easiest to use sensors for your next project. All three sensors present information on a JSON formatted packet, and can be customized using URI style commands from a terminal program. These sensors truly shine thanks to their versatility in units and conditions when collecting data.

LoFive R1 Has Left the Building

Never thought we'd see the day where one email mentions two different RISC-V products but here we are. The LoFive R1 by @QwertyEmbedded has now shipped to every backer. We've also shipped a big batch to Digi-Key in case you missed the special group buy price (and bragging rights). We're glad to have been able to help Qwerty get some recognition for his work by DK. Welcome to the bigs, Qwerty!

PTmini Pro

PTmini Pro

The micro USB port on the PTmini had to go. It was a chrome-plated wart the size of the chin on an iMac. Many of you wanted to do direct-wire or use a lower-profile connector and we listened. Think we're done innovating with Lepton yet? Not a chance.
