LTE CAT-M1/NB-IOT/EGPRS GNSS Feather-Compatible Shield

IOT-BOTS makes products designed for easy and elegant IOT solutions ready for the field. This feather-compatible shield offers LTE and GNSS connectivity in a low cost and modular solution. As a "qTop" shield, it has an integrated EEPROM to automatically tell their controller baseboard which shield is plugged in. The makes for quick and easy swapping of their various shields without having to re-flashing firmware. IOT-BOTS provides an Arduino sketch to allow for a rapid connection to Thingsboard so you can quickly get a dashboard to see your device data. This campaign is already over 100% so back yours today.

tCam-Mini

The tCam-Mini by DanJulioDesigns Wi-Fi enables the FLIR Lepton LWIR camera core in a slick form factor. Have you ever wanted to stream thermal video wirelessly but didn't want to deal with the hassle of developing the software, firmware, and hardware? We've been wanting to for years but you know... didn't. Luckily, Dan has done all that for us already! The tCam-Mini transmits Lepton data over Wi-Fi via an ESP32 to deliver thermal images and radiometric data to any endpoint via an exposed socket interface. Don't have an endpoint? Dan has also developed a solid desktop companion app that works out of the box on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

LEGO PCB Mount with LEDs

It turns out that with the right spacing, LEDs can fit snugly into a LEGO brick. This simple little board uses the MSP430F2230 MCU from Texas Instruments to control 6 LEDs using only 3 of the 4 available GPIO pins and comes pre-flashed with digital dice firmware. A fun distraction for any bench and a great way to make a Lego enclosure pop.

AudioMoth in WSJ

Congrats to Open Acoustic Devices for having another blowout campaign in Round 13 for the latest v1.2 hardware. As yet another testament to how much of a juggernaut that AudioMoth has become, the Wall Street Journal recently covered it along with other notable kits in an article about open source tools for conservationists. We're also loving the photos by National Geographic photog Shah Selbe.

FLIR Boson Digital Video Adapter (DiVA)

The Boson is no longer limited to only USB or Analog output. The DiVA adapter developed by GetLab (err... us) is a plug-and-play way to easily get FLIR Boson 640 or 320 thermal video to any monitor, TV, or device with an HDMI input. DiVA even offers a built in interface for changing between color pallets and camera settings. The firmware is open source courtesy of Greg Davill so you can hack it just like all of our thermal cam boards.

MTX BLE Camera Development Board

The MTX-BC48-DB is an easy-to-use platform to develop and demonstrate various features of the Lattice Semiconductor iCE40 UltraPlus for Bluetooth Low Energy communication and image processing. This board features a tiny CameraCube image sensor and is designed to operate on a coin cell battery. Look for us to take this beauty live soon.
