Black Friday Blowout

Black Friday Blowout

Written By: William Massey, Matthew Navarro, Ron Justin | December 02, 2019

Ah Thanksgiving, our favorite US holiday. We love taking time to sit around the table to give thanks for what we have, and dodge awkward questions from extended family. So before your uncle that you only see once a year starts lecturing about how he paid his way through college by washing windows, let’s talk about some great group buy campaigns, new hardware, and sales in our store. If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving it’s all good, Black Friday has something for everyone.

Black Friday Blowout

We need to clear off some shelf space for 2020 so we’re offering a ridiculous sale on some of our more popular items such as our PureModules sensors, LoFive, BaconBits, and more. Priced to move until the stock runs out, put the FOMO at bay and get on over to our store.

FLIR Lepton Breakout v2 + Lower Price Lepton

FLIR’s latest Lepton Breakout board is dressed to the nines with the largest amount of IO breakout ever for the FLIR Lepton. To make things better, FLIR recently dropped prices for all Leptons across the lineup. To give thanks for both, we are launching a Lepton Breakout Board V2 with Lepton bundle campaign. It’s a screaming deal on a hot piece of kit that you can’t find anywhere else.

AudioLog GroupGet

In the true spirit of Thanksgiving, GroupGets would like to welcome Audiolog to the table to share in revelry of crowd purchasing. Audiolog is an acoustic recorder that utilizes a low distortion microphone, sensitive to -26dB, programmable sampling frequencies from 10kHz to 48kHz, and an intuitive UI to record and analyze data. Packaged in a weather-proof case, and powered by a rechargeable battery pack, the audiolog is able to continuously record for hundreds of hours in any environment. And if all of that was not enough, the Audiolog is compatible with SD cards up to 512 Gb, and can even extend battery life by attaching an external power bank. The inaugural Audiolog campaign is currently live on GroupGets and on the road to funding. Please note, this logger is not affiliated with or derived from AudioMoth. If the absence of an integrated case has been holding you back from buying AudioMoth, then this may be the logger for you. Both are for great causes too

New PureThermal Lepton Breakout Board

Last but not least, we have our own new board for the FLIR Lepton. The PureThermal Lepton Breakout iterates upon the recently end-of-lifed classic breakout by exposing the VSYNC and Power Enable pins to allow for easier integration and lower power options. We’ve also added a PCB connector for easier integration with our (often imitated) PureModules sensors. Consider this a plug-and-play replacement of the older version with a price to match and easier integration with the PureModules ecosystem. We’ve been using a version of this board internally for awhile and decided that now is finally the time to release it. And just in time for Black Friday, it comes in any color that you’d like, as long as it’s black.
