AudioMoth Round 7

AudioMoth Round 7

Written By: GroupGets Will | June 04, 2019

Everybody’s favorite audio logger with a purpose is back for Round 7. There is an interesting new campaign for a depth sensing dev kit. We kicked off Round 2 for the FLIR Boson. And if you’d rather spend more time hacking than marketing your product on GroupGets, we’ve partnered with Hackster.io to let you do just that.

AudioMoth Round 7

The passion and purpose behind the AudioMoth audio logger makes this one of our most treasured campaigns. To its creators, supporters, and backers who travel to remote locations all over the world to field them to detect illegal hunting and deforestation, we are humbled by your bravery. Get the latest 1.1.0 version in this current round that is already well on its way to funding. And big shout out to WILDLABS for awarding Audiomoth a Tech Hub Showcase Award for its contributions to #endwildlifecrime.

Hackster.io Marketing

Hackster.io Marketing

We have the feeling that a lot of you reading this would rather create cool products than market them. There’s no shame in that so we enlisted Hackster to offer their marketing services for hire for your next great GroupGet campaign. It’s hard to find a better hardware marketer in the game and we’re lucky to have them on board. While we’re here, big thanks to Hackster for recently featuring our PureThermal 1 on a Throwback Thursday video. Rad scientists forever!

Boson Round 2

It was no surprise to see our first ever GroupGet for the FLIR Boson thermal camera fund. Its backers locked in a deep discount on one of the best thermal camera systems in the world with respect to SWaP and price. Fortunately for you if you missed it, none of us have MBA’s so we launched Round 2.
